Steven A. Heller has always been fascinated by alternate format cameras and has produced numerous bodies of work with cardboard pinhole, plastic, carnival, stereoscopic, 4- and 8 lens sequential cameras and most recently, with the ubiquitous cellular phone camera. Heller shared his passion through his work as the Senior Photographer and Director of Photographic Services at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA for over 25 years, as an educator at the Art Institute Hollywood, California, and as a contributing writer for over a decade for Black & White, a quarterly fine art photography magazine.
